Equipping women for life.

What We Do

Christian Women’s Job Corp.® of NW Arkansas is an outreach ministry which seeks to provide a Christian environment in which women in need are equipped and encouraged to develop life and job skills.

Our goal is to help women come into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and to gain skills for life and employment.  We want women, no matter what circumstances they may be in, to know that God offers a hope and a future for them.

CWJC of NW Arkansas has based its organizational structure on a successful national model – Christian Women’s Job Corps®, a ministry of Women’s Missionary Union®, which started in March 1, 1997.  CWJC has over 200 sites across the U.S. as well as some international sites.

Although each CWJC site is autonomous, they share a common purpose – helping women to establish a relationship with God through Jesus while teaching skills to better their lives at home and in the workplace.

CWJC of NW Arkansas is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, trained Site Coordinators, and a dedicated group of multi-talented volunteers.  We are a non-profit organization registered with the State of Arkansas, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status entity.

We are an interdenominational ministry that believes sisters in Christ, which may attend a variety of churches, can share in the outreach ministry of Christ together in our community.

CWJC OF NW ARKANSAS’ STATEMENT OF FAITH:  We believe in the Trinity, God as Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, and the Bible as the divinely inspired Word of God.  We believe that man was created in the image of God.  We believe that salvation comes through grace by believing in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, our Savior, and Lord.  Once saved, the Holy Spirit indwells, thereby instructing, guiding, and empowering the individual to follow the mandate of Jesus Christ in daily living.
